This yeast made a fantastic Kolsch style ale for me. Quickly fermented to FG with an attenuation of 82%. Really lovely classic Kolsch flavors right away before any cold conditioning. I built up my starter so I could save some of the yeast and will be using the yeast cake next for a Dortmunder alt.

    Meant to write Dusseldorf alt*

This is my go-to Kolsch yeast. It provides beautiful earthy, rustic flavors while also letting the malt shine through to produce a well-balanced beer. It also cleared up easily after a cold crash. I’m planning to experiment with this strain in a WC IPA soon.
